The Dalet workflow engine intelligently drives the users to manually fill in contextual sets of metadata, and back office services handle automatic generation of metadata.

The product includes powerful production tools to ingest content from multiple sources (including P2, robotic tape libraries, XDCam, VTRs, Live feeds, file import), make simple EDLs, exchange shot lists and EDLs with third party production systems, check quality of media, and much more.
The DaletPlus MAM framework supports a wide variety of formats and wrappers, and its back-office engine makes media management (transcoding, multisite exchanges, transfers to different storage devices, including tape libraries) fully transparent.
